Beth is a public relations professional with more than 15 years of experience in the field. She holds a degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from Humboldt State University and currently serves as the director of media relations for San Diego State University. A native San Diegan, Beth loves being surrounded by creative people who are passionate about what they do and is particularly interested in the visual and performing arts as well as music, travel and food. She has worked both in-house and in agency settings representing such brands as Legoland California, Sea Life Aquarium – Carlsbad, Slater’s 50/50, Jill Courtemanche Millinery, MakerPlace, San Diego Harbor Excursion and La Jolla Playhouse.
Tom is a marketing and product management professional with more than 15 years of experience in the online media, mobile media and college athletics industries. He holds a degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from Arizona State University. During a long tenure at CBS Interactive, he managed teams across multiple disciplines including marketing, product management, content and website management and a streaming video product operations team. His experience spans a full spectrum of environments from private internet start-ups to publicly-owned tech companies, and from burgeoning cable television networks to Fortune 500 TV networks. Tom is passionate about music, food and the arts, and is an avid board gamer.
